Effective July 1, 2024, New Jersey increased minimum Commercial Auto Liability limits for intrastate CMVs.

GVWR 10,001–26,000 lbs

Minimum: $300,000 CSL

GVWR ≥ 26,001 lbs

If your commercial motor vehicle’s GVWR is 26,001 lbs or more and you operate intrastate in NJ, the minimum Combined Single Limit is $1,500,000. Vehicles 10,001–26,000 lbs require at least $300,000.
